Peng Festival

Since 2017 we have been creating visuals for the Jazz Festival: PENG A yearly jazz festival in Essen, Germany. 
It has been a lot of fun to play some of the more wild and experimental notes of animation.

On this first 2017 edition we experimented with blending analog papercut and digital animation to conceive a creative and distinct look that enriches and corresponds to the music.

For the 2018 edition of the jazz festival in Essen, Germany we created an experimental trailer again. Playing of the the colors of the corporate identity and the music that was given to us. At the same time we tried to stay true to the style of last years trailer.

For the 2019 edition of the jazz festival in Essen, Germany we cut together live footage recorded at previous editions of the festival and animated over it in TV Paint reusing and reinterpretating some of our old material.
